Upon installation, OPALE Server creates the following folders in the "home" folder of the IBM i server:
- Mapping (*.PAG, lstobj.txt, generation files of mappings)
- docpc (*.MPW, *.MPI, *.MPP, *.MPA)
- lgobitmap (*.BMP)
- Mapout (*.MAP, passwd.txt)
\home\mapping
- *.PAG files: spooled files used to base template designs off of (created by the IBM i upon request)
- lstobj.txt: text files which contain all numbers and identifying pieces of overlays and generated downloadable fonts.
Caution: The lstobj.txt must not be edited or deleted!
If the file is lost, you can recreate it with the IBM i, by typing CALL MAP_823 on a command line.
- Mapping generation files: files imported by the IBM i to create templates. When imported, these files are deleted from the Mapping folder.
- overlays (without extension)
- downloadable fonts (without extension): only exist if you use non integrated fonts.

\home\mapping\lgobitmap
This folder contains a copy of image files you inserted in the template. These files are not stored in your *.MPI files.
These files are created once for all your templates.
Logos created in the overlay are stored in the *.MPW files and cannot be found in this folder.

\home\mapout
