This command, run on a spooled file, helps to create two DTAARA in QTEMP:

  • DATE containing the date of creation of the spooled file
  • TIME containing the time of creation of the spooled file

The DATE DTAARA contains the date in 1YYMMDD or 0YYMMDD format where 1 is the 21st century and 0 the 20th, YY is the year (2 digits), MM the month

and DD the day (1010705 for July 5th, 2001).

The TIME DTAARA contains the time in HHMMSS format, where HH corresponds to the hour with 2 digits, MM to the minutes and SS to the seconds (102046 for

10h40m56s).

Joined in the same action as the MAPCPYSPLF command, MAPRTVINFO retrieves the date and time of creation as archiving criteria.
