This command splits the original spooled file into several other files in order to send them to different output queues.

Interactive Mode: select option 1, Managing spooled files. Type E before the spooled file and define the following parameters:

  • Number of file to create
  • Name of Outq 1 and Library of Outq 1
  • Name of Outq 2 and Library of Outq 2
  • ...
  • Name of Outq n and Library of Outq n (where n is the total number of files)


MAPECLAT Command

  • Spoolfile name SPLF
  • Spoolfile number SPLNUM
  • Job Name JOB
  • Job Number JOBNUM
  • User USER
  • Number of spoolfile NBRSPL
  • Outq name 1 OUTQ1
  • Library of Outq 1
  • Number of pages 1 NB1
  • Outq name 2 OUTQ1
  • Library of Outq 2
  • Number of pages 2 NB1
  • ...
  • Outq name n OUTQ1
  • Library of Outq n
  • Number of pages n NBn
