This command allows you to send an e-mail with IBM i and include up to two attachments in it. It does not concern e-mailing spooled files.

  • Original State: The e-mail is ready to be send or held in the output queue
  • PRIORITY: E-mailing priority (by default= 3)
  • Name of the user: Name of the IBM i user
  • Send from: Sender
  • Send TO: Recipient
  • Send CC: Recipient of the e-mail carbon copy
  • Send CCI: Recipient of the e-mail blind carbon copy
  • Subject: Subject of the e-mail
  • Note: Text of the e-mail
  • Path and name of file 1: Path to the file attached
  • Name of this file 1 in the mail: Name of the file attached
  • Path and name of file 2: Path to the second file attached
  • Name of this file 2 in the mail: Name of the second file attached
  • Delete mail after send: Delete the mail after it was sent
  • Delete file1 after send: Delete the first attachment after the e-mail was sent
  • Delete file2 after send: Delete the second attachment after the e-mail was sent
