This command is actually an improved version of WRKSPLF. It allows you to search for spooled files on IBM i, depending on the following attributes:
- User USER
- Outq OUTQ
- Outq Library
- Spooled file name PRTF
- Printout type FORMTYP
- User data USRDTA
Once the spooled files you looked for are displayed, you can use the same features as with WRKSPLF (option 1 to 8), but you will need to enter the following parameters:
- Remapping an EBCDIC spooled file
- Splitting an EBCDIC spooled file
- Start printing an ASCII spooled file from any given page
- Sending a spooled file to a remote system (SNDTCPSPLF command)
- Transferring a spooled file to PC
- Duplicating a spooled file
- Sending an e-mail (MAPSNDMAIL)
