Home Menu

The Home menu gives access to the general options of the project or document being created:

Clipboard:

• Cut / copy / paste features: applied to one or several elements in the project (standard keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V can also be used).
• Copy Formatting feature: copies the formatting of one element to others (texts or shapes).
• Duplicate feature: duplicates a selected element, the number of rows and columns wanted can also be configured (which is useful to create label sheets for instance).

System Fonts: Standard text formatting features: choose between the TTF system fonts (Windows) available on the user workstation, choose the font size, color, bold / underlined / italic styles, justified or aligned formatting.

Generate:

• Generate the current project. N.B. This option is only available for projects being created (opened in the application).
• Generate an existing project association.
• Export overlay feature (see the File Menu).
• Access to the script window from the Designer application.

Preview:

• Preview feature: preview projects being designed.
• Load Data Stream feature: select and load spooled files in the application (useful to design the document and preview it).
• Multi-preview feature: preview multisequence projects.
• Save Preview feature: Save a shot of the preview.
• XPS Watermark feature: load an XPS file as watermark (this is not taken into account for the generation but is displayed during the design process as a template).

Windows:

• This feature manages the different project windows that are opened in the application, it gives the possibility to activate one or the other, save or close one or several windows at a time.
