This command allows you to remap a database file.

The Mapping format must be created using the description of the physical file. To display it, use command DSPFFD.

Command: MAPCPYDB

  • DB FILENAME
  • DB LIBNAME
  • DB SIZE
  • Name of the MAPPING format
  • Processing mode
  • Outq
  • Outq library
  • Delete original spooled file (EBCDIC)
  • Remapped output file ready (ASCII)
  • Form type
  • Keep the remapped spooled file
  • Send overlay
  • Send fonts
  • Save overlay and font files
  • Start page
  • End page
  • Page Length : Number of records per page
