Troubleshooting

Error loading page

Error Description: After installing or updating M-Processing Server, the Web-based UI cannot be displayed anymore. The browser gives an error message such as “This page cannot be displayed” or “Failed to establish connection”.

Solution: Make sure you restart the Apache Web server as its configuration file has been modified.

After logging on, a blank page is displayed

Error Description: After entering your username and password in the Web-based UI, a blank page is displayed.

Solution: Check the Internet browser’s security settings. Add the server’s IP address to the list of Truted Sites. If this does not solve the problem, check the Apache server’s log files called “error_log” and “access_log” for more information, and contact Technical Support.

Download mapweb_secure.exe pop-up window

Error Description: When M-Processing Server’s Web-based UI is started, the Apache server asks for your login credentials and prompts you to download a file called “mapweb_secure.exe”.

Solution: This program is needed to display and navigate through the different menus in the UI. The Apache server needs to support and allow for the use of content generating programs called CGI programs. Check the Apache server’s configuration settings in the file httpd.conf making sure the module allowing for the execution and use of CGI scripts is available and loaded. A correct example is:

 LoadModule cgi_module modules/mod_cgi.so

If the Apache settings need updating, make sure you restart the Apache Service after applying the changes. If this doesn’t solve the problem, check the Apache server’s log files called “error_log” and “access_log” for more information, and contact Technical Support.
