My First Mapping

The goal of this exercise is to use the first document composition functions via workflows.

1. Generate Designer template (covered during Designer training)
2. Import Designer template

1. Creating the Workflow (20 minutes)

• MyFirstMapping_XX
• Document name is fixed
• Document name is dynamic
• Create and use an environment variable for paths
• Send output datastream to a printer

• Create a printer in MAPPING

1. Command line

• map_xps
• M-Engine

1. Process execution:
   1. Direct Mapping command in Designer script
   2. LPR command in DOS prompt
   3. LPR command via Designer execution script in direct Mapping command via an entry point
   4. ScanFolder
