Installation of a different version of Designer on a same workstation

Introduction

It can be necessary to install M-Designer on a workstation when another version of Designer is already installed on the workstation. When executing a M-Designer setup, the M-Designer.exe file that is already on the workstation get replaced and therefore the previous M-Designer.exe version is not longer available.

Solution

1. Prior to installing the new Designer, rename the M-Designer.exe into M-Designer_VERSIONNUMBER.exe (example : M-Designer_ONYX_10.2.3.exe)
2. Execute the new setup and select the repear Mode

You now have 2 differents M-Designer : M-Designer_ONYX_10.2.3.exe and M-Designer.exe The M-Designer.exe is the version updated
